Getting Ready for the First Meeting

Well, thankfully the temperatures have dropped and we are thinking of letting our bunnies meet in a few weeks. We are going to begin the prep work, like getting nesting boxes ready and adding a cage or two for the babies. As soon as we get all of the prep done (hopefully 2-3 weeks) the fun will begin!

It's STILL Hot!!

Well I would like to tell you I have news on dates and bunnies but this heat never seems like it will end! Guess it's just giving us more bonding time with our current bunnies. Hopefully this is our last heat wave and we can start to look at breeding and get a date estimate on the first group. (Sometime in Dec. & April?) We are hoping to have news on a third breed added to our hutch during the National ARBA convention in the fall. I will try to post some pictures soon. Thanks for checking in.

Looking for a Bunny?

I have already had several phone calls asking about our bunnies. If you are looking for a bunny for next year's fair or sooner please drop me an e-mail or a phone call. I am taking names and numbers and will be contacting people when we get closer to having bunnies for sale. It will be a while! Believe it or not bunnies cannot multiply in the heat, so I am thinking the soonest we will have babies will be late September/early October. We are also looking at possibly adding another breed later on so keep checking back.

You have found our website, which is currently a work in progress. We have two pair of rabbits, one Himalayan and one Holland Lop that we will be looking to start breeding in a month or two.
